About the Client
Hortorus is a well-known Warsaw garden center with a loyal customer community and a rich assortment of products. Online, the situation was more challenging: most plants were available only on order, which limited the possibility of immediate purchases.
The Challenge
We needed a product that would maintain sales and store traffic, sustain interest in the brand, and preserve the continuity of advertising communication during a period of limited plant availability.
The Solution: A Gift Card
After analyzing the assortment, we chose a gift card. It does not depend on plant availability, is accessible all year round, and makes the ideal gift for plant lovers.
Authenticity Above All
Instead of classic ad creatives, we recorded a video with the brand owner, who personally talked about the idea of a green gift and invited viewers to purchase the card. A natural, genuine tone became the foundation of the campaign.
• Meta Ads: video campaigns, remarketing, and conversions for gift card purchases.
• UX: a simplified purchasing process and a dedicated subpage in the store.
Results
Previously, gift cards sold in quantities of a few units per year. Over the course of the 3-month campaign, we sold more than 30 cards, which is 6 times more in a short period, translating to over a 20-fold increase on an annualized basis. From zero online sales, real traffic and sales emerged.
