Case study ·
Qarson
We connected the fleet availability feed with Google Ads so that each brand's campaigns turn on and off automatically.
Google Ads · Automation
campaign alignment with fleet availability
automatically controlled brands
manual campaign adjustments every day
Context
Qarson operates multi-brand car rental services and advertises them via Google Ads. Fleet availability changes dynamically, even from day to day. The most expensive mistake in such a scenario is advertising cars that are currently out of stock.
Stage 1: Data Centralization
We fetch car availability data from the product feed and process it using a script in Google Sheets. For each brand, the spreadsheet calculates available cars and assigns a status:
• ON, when at least 2 cars are available,
• OFF, when fewer than 2 are available.
On an exemplary day, the system monitored 25 brands and 81 available cars. Only 9 brands had an ON status, while 16 were automatically marked as OFF.
Stage 2: Automated Google Ads Control
A Google Ads script reads statuses from the spreadsheet daily and, based on them, resumes or pauses Search and DSA campaigns separately for each brand. Without delays and without human intervention.
Stage 3: The End of Inefficient Ad Delivery
Ads for brands with no cars available stopped displaying, and the budget was directed exclusively to where actual inventory existed.
Results
• 100% alignment of campaigns with fleet availability.
• Real advertising budget savings.
• An end to daily, manual campaign checks.
• A system that scales regardless of the number of brands.
Key Insight
The automation did not alter bids or creatives. It automated a business decision: whether a given brand should be advertised today. This shifted Google Ads from campaign management level to inventory availability management level. We build similar solutions as part of automation.
