WHY POLAND

The EU's sixth-largest economy, growing faster than the West

Poland is a market of 38 million people, with GDP growing more than twice as fast as the EU average, and customers who shop online just like in Scandinavia. 41% of Polish internet users already buy from foreign online stores, and the digital advertising market grew by 14.6% in 2025.

Why now

A window that will be more expensive in two years

The demand is already waiting

In 2025, 41% of Polish internet users made a purchase from a foreign store. Amazon, Temu, and Notino have shown that Poles are eager to buy brands from abroad if they receive Polish customer support and local delivery.

Cheaper reach than in the West

Meta CPM rates in Poland are about 40–55% lower than in Germany and the UK (Lebesgue 2026 benchmark). The same budget buys you more tests and more customers.

Growing purchasing power

Wages rose by 8.1% in 2025, while consumption grew by 4%. E-commerce is expected to grow by around 9% annually until 2029, outpacing the European average.

MARKET ENTRY

Why simply translating your store is not enough

The Polish market has its own rules. By law, the Polish language is required for offers, terms and conditions, and customer service. Allegro, used by over 75% of Polish internet users, has its own advertising system and a merchant quality score that determines the visibility of listings. Customers expect BLIK, parcel locker delivery within 1-2 days, and hassle-free returns.

On top of that come taxes and registrations: VAT OSS, KSeF e-invoicing, BDO packaging registration, and an EU Responsible Person under GPSR. Instead of looking for five different vendors, you get a single team that drives your strategy, sales, and marketing, while handling the formalities and logistics with trusted partners.

PROCESS

How we introduce a brand to the Polish market

From audit to scaling in five steps, with a single team accountable for the results.

1

Audit and research

We analyze the category, competition, prices on Allegro and Ceneo, Google demand, and your sales data from other markets. Then, we select the initial product range.

2

Entry plan

You get a strategy: channels, budget, goals, schedule, a list of formal requirements, and logistics partners. You approve the plan before launch.

3

Preparation

We localize your store and offers, set up an Allegro account, connect BLIK, InPost, tracking pixels, and analytics. We record the first UGC materials with Polish creators.

4

Sales launch

We launch Allegro Ads as well as Google, Meta, and TikTok campaigns. We monitor customer acquisition costs daily and respond to the initial data.

5

Scaling

Monthly reporting, optimization, and decision-making on the next steps: new categories, expanding to Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary via Allegro, and our own warehouse in Poland.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who is entering the Polish market for?

For brands that have a proven product and want to conquer a new market without building a local team.

DTC Brands from the EU and the UK

Stores on Shopify and WooCommerce that are already selling domestically and want to tap into a market of 38 million consumers within a single customs zone.

Marketplace sellers

Companies present on Amazon, Zalando, or eMAG looking to enter Allegro, the largest marketplace in Poland with 15.5 million active buyers.

Brands from the USA and Asia

Manufacturers looking to enter the EU through a fast-growing market, with warehouses in the heart of Europe and access to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.

B2B and SaaS Companies

Services and software looking to generate Polish leads through Google, LinkedIn, and Meta campaigns, as well as local content.

Why AdVibes

Why enter the Polish market with AdVibes?

8 years at Google

A founder who knows Google from the inside out

Patryk Kochany, founder of AdVibes, spent 8 years at Google as a Senior Account Manager, managing ad budgets in excess of 30 million per quarter and overseeing the launch and scaling of a new YouTube advertising product in the UK. Today, he leads a team of 15 with in-house creative and development departments, crafting campaigns, creatives, landing pages, and websites tailored to the Polish market.

Performance is what we do every day

For years, we have been running campaigns based on sales and lead generation. In 2025, AdVibes campaigns generated 280 million PLN in sales for our clients.

They trusted us with a budget of PLN 40 million

In 2025 alone, clients entrusted us with 40 million PLN in ad budgets across Google, Meta, and TikTok. We know how to spend money so that it brings a return.

Google Premier Partner and Meta Badged Partner

Partner statuses held by only a small percentage of agencies in Poland. We apply the same testing and reporting standards when entering a new market.

We sell abroad ourselves

We run our own e-commerce brands, including furni.io, which sells in more than 30 European countries. We know expansion from a founder's perspective, not just an agency's.

Entering the Polish Market: What You Need to Know Before Launching

Poland is the sixth-largest economy in the European Union and one of the fastest-growing e-commerce markets in Europe. In 2025, GDP grew by 3.8%, wages rose by 8.1%, and 30 million Poles shopped online. For brands from Germany, the UK, Scandinavia, or the US, it is a market that combines Western scale with the growth rate of emerging markets. Below, we've gathered what you need to know before launching your first campaign.

What Polish E-commerce Looks Like in 2026

The market value has exceeded $32 billion and is growing at an annual rate of 15–20%, with forecasts through 2029 pointing to around 9% annually—faster than the European average. 82% of Poles shop on a smartphone, and 41% of internet users order from foreign stores. Google holds an 89% search market share, Facebook reaches 18.7 million people, and TikTok reaches 12.4 million adults. The digital advertising market is worth 11 billion PLN and grew by 14.6% in 2025.

Allegro, Your Own Store, or Marketplaces: Choosing the Right Channels

Allegro is the primary shopping destination for 71% of Poles, boasting 15.5 million active buyers and over 150,000 sellers. Listings, terms and conditions, and customer service must be in Polish, prices in PLN, and visibility depends on the sales quality score and Allegro Ads campaigns. A single account also unlocks the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Running your own store alongside Google, Meta, and TikTok campaigns yields higher margins and customer data, which is why we most often combine both channels. Amazon.pl, Empik, and Erli complement reach in selected categories.

Payments and Delivery That Determine Conversion

72% of buyers prefer BLIK, 64% fast pay-by-link bank transfers, and 46% have abandoned a purchase when their preferred payment method was unavailable. 83% choose delivery to a parcel locker, most often InPost, which has over 28,000 automated lockers in Poland and handles the majority of returns. Customers expect delivery within 1–2 days and a 14-day right of return. A brand shipping from abroad with week-long delivery times and no BLIK loses to local competition before even starting to compete on the product itself.

Formalities: VAT OSS, KSeF, BDO, and GPSR

An EU-based company selling to consumers in Poland exceeding €10,000 per year accounts for Polish VAT, most often through the OSS procedure. Starting in 2026, companies settling taxes in Poland issue e-invoices via KSeF, and sellers placing packaging on the market must register with BDO. Every product requires an EU responsible person in accordance with the GPSR, and starting in August 2026, marketplaces verify manufacturer registration before publishing an offer. From July 2026, non-EU shipments valued up to €150 are subject to a €3 customs duty per product type, which makes a strong case for having a warehouse in Poland. This is a checklist to complete with your partners, not a reason to delay your market entry.

Why It's Worth Entering Now

The cost of reach in Poland is still lower than in Western Europe; CPM rates on Meta are about 40–55% lower than in Germany and the UK, and demand for foreign brands is growing by 5 percentage points annually. The market is maturing rapidly: every year of delay means more competitors in your category and higher customer acquisition costs. Brands entering with a local partner start selling in a few weeks instead of spending several quarters learning the market.
